Hayyyyyyy ooooooo
We've arrived back in the big D-elhi after a few busy days in Jaipur.
The camp is over, all the painting has been completed, we've said goodbye to the kid and everyone has gone on home except for myself and Claire.
Jaipur is a town of around 2 million peeps and is known as the "Pink City". Its reasonably pink, very hot and smelly. It is also home to the Amber Fort and the worlds largest cannon (there is some condition of it being the worlds largest cannon... as in its the world's largest cannon that is on wheels or something like that.) Anyways, its a big cannon. Jaipur also has some pretty sweet hotels with pools. I enjoyed the one we stayed at. It was fully sick. It also has these crazy bazaars all in the old city (surrounded by an old wall) and a great resturant on the rooftops called "Ganesh Resturant". It had a menu that was only available by waiter talking, lots of Indian food and a good view of a nearby Carnival.. that is, until a big thunderstorm started and everyone ran for shelter.
Jaipur also had a monkey temple. There were alot of monkeys at the monkey temple. There was also some people jumping and bombing into some sacred water.
I dont really understand alot of the stuff that goes on in India, but its never dull. Its often annoying, often frustrating but always interesting.
I think I saw a dead man yesterday as well. First time for everything.
Few days are to be spent in Delhi until the 19th or 20th when im heading up to Nepal for some Momos.
