And a bottle of rum..
People are starting to ship out of here. Anna left yesterday and a couple more of the Brits are leaving today.. but this weekend we have McLeod Ganj - which is Buddhist so I am really looking forward to that. On Wednesday next week we have all been invited to a wedding so that should be great.. I will have a chance to wear my traditional indian suit.
Also, I got two tailor made shirts yesterday for a total of $10 each.
Bargain.
I could get used to living here (except for the poisonous water, the flies, the hole-in-the-ground toilets, the lack of showering facilities, everybody staring at me 24/7, getting shocked by computers, running into brick walls in cars, not being able to speak to anyone without having to gesticulate with my hands like a madman, not knowing whether everyone is ripping me off because I am white, the heat, the humidity, the lack of communication in the camp, the lack of a playstation 2 in my room, good friends, greater enemies, important news from Australia, no full time job, no prospects, a pig - in a cage.. on antibiotics)
More after the weekend..
