Andrew Johns - coming down.
The biggest sporting news story in Sydney lately has been about Andrew Johns, who according to the media, is the greatest footballer ever to lace on a boot, in any sport.. if he was to put on a skirt and play netball he would probably be the best at that too.

A few years back, after reading about how dominant he was in some game, I wrote about how I thought he was overweight and injury prone, so I have basically had it in for him for a long time.
Now this comes out. Andrew Johns has been on drugs for 10 years. I knew it, I feel so vindicated.
Now, like all the media who have all stuck their knives into Johnsy, I can tear shreds off him... but you know what? I don't want to.
Andrew Johns is a fucking retired footballer. He took ecstasy. Big fucking deal.
Drugs are everywhere. Lawyers, Doctors and Politicians take em, coke, e, weed, booze...
Go out to any club in Sydney, London, New York, Melbourne, Berlin, Paris (you get the idea) and people will be pinging off their faces. What is the point of crucifying an ex footballer for it?
Let the dude go out and drop 5 pills and dance the night away and grind his teeth down to stubs if he wants to.
The media doesn't need to punish him for his drug "problem". The come down will take care of that.
