Nando's Explosion

Sydney was rocked today by the news that its beloved Chicken shop, Nando's, was blown up by Anti-Chicken Terrorists.

The Nando's Chicken shop, located in Ultimo, was an Iconic part of the Inner-West landscape - renowned for it's ability to mesh fine dining with reasonable prices.

The Terrorist group thought to be responsible for the attack are known as the Anti-Chicken Terrorist Army, or the ACTA. An ACTA spokeperson was quoted by a local paper today saying

"Yeah, Chicken is OK - but Nandos is just to hot. You pour that Peri-Peri sauce all over the Chicken and it is like your tongue is on fire."

The Nando's Chicken Shop was in the same building as the Student Residences for the University of Technology, Sydney. Students were reported as being "crushed" and "outraged" at the destruction of the Chicken shop.

An Engineering Exchange Student, Tim-Tam Buc, 22, let his feelings be known about the situation

"I eat there sometime, I like fry noodle better, chicken OK but too hot."

When quizzed further about whether he saw or heard anything unusual before the blast he responded

"Loud bang but computer blow up and start smoke at same time. Try to play StarCraft but no can play. Very mad."

Police are currently looking for less baffling eyewitness accounts.
